IT Services

Casino and hotel IT infrastructure and support.

We work with your casino or hotel IT team to help ensure your infrastructure is secure, configured properly, and ready for the workloads it supports. We can help with server virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, shared storage, resilient networks, firewall configuration, and endpoint deployment. Together, we review application dependencies, plan agreed changes, coordinate installation and migration, and validate configurations against agreed acceptance criteria. We add specialist expertise and implementation capacity, with clear configuration records to support your team’s ongoing operations.

Service capabilities

Practical support.
A defined scope.

We can take on a single task, provide ongoing support, or deliver a complete project, working directly with your leadership or alongside your IT department. Systems, deliverables, and responsibilities are agreed before work begins.

Servers and Storage

We review, configure, and improve server and storage environments for workload performance, capacity, security, and recoverability. We can help your team deploy and configure Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server, and SAN or NAS solutions within the agreed design. Work includes workload sizing, host and cluster configuration, virtual networking, storage provisioning, high availability, migration, and backup integration. We validate dependencies and recovery procedures before handover, so your team has a defined cutover and documented operating procedures for the agreed changes.

Nutanix Installation and Migration

We plan, install, configure, and migrate Nutanix clusters that consolidate compute, virtualization, and storage into hyperconverged infrastructure. We assess CPU, memory, storage performance, capacity, and growth; confirm compatible hardware and licensing; and deploy AOS, AHV where selected, and Prism management. Implementation covers virtual networks, role-based administration, monitoring, and licensed resilience features. We plan supported VM migrations, integrate backup and recovery, and test approved failover scenarios. The engagement includes a cutover plan, validation results, and administrator handover.

Storage Installation and Data Migration

We configure shared storage and file services around the performance, availability, and data-access requirements of your workloads. We configure storage pools, volumes or LUNs, supported host connections, multipathing, file shares, and access permissions. We review capacity, retention, encryption options, and backup protection, then plan the migration and validate application access. Configuration records and capacity information help your team understand the environment and plan future expansion.

Networking and Wi-Fi

We review, configure, and improve Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks across gaming floors, hotel operations, back-of-house areas, and multiple properties. The service covers VLAN architecture, routing, switch uplinks, link aggregation, DHCP and DNS dependencies, wireless coverage, and quality of service for voice and other priority traffic. We separate guest, vendor, administrative, and operational access and configure authentication where required. Coverage checks, connectivity testing, approved failover tests, and as-built diagrams provide a network your IT team can troubleshoot and maintain.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

We review and configure backup and recovery around agreed recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO). We configure protection for servers, VMs, supported applications, files, and cloud workloads, including retention, offsite copies, application-consistent backups where supported, and immutable repositories where available. We monitor failed jobs, test restores, and document recovery dependencies and runbooks. Replication and disaster recovery exercises can validate recovery at another location. Your team receives tested recovery evidence and visibility of gaps against the agreed objectives.

Firewalls and Network Segmentation

We review and configure firewalls and network segmentation to control internet exposure, inter-VLAN traffic, remote access, and vendor connectivity. We review the rulebase, NAT, VPNs, logging, and administrative access, then implement network zones and least-privilege traffic policies. The service covers high-availability firewall pairs and supported intrusion-prevention or application-control features. We validate legitimate application flows, document exceptions, and record configuration changes, helping your team reduce unnecessary access without overlooking critical business dependencies.

Hospitality and Vendor Systems

We work with your application vendors on the infrastructure configurations and integration dependencies behind property management, point-of-sale, casino, and hospitality applications. We translate vendor requirements into server, storage, network, endpoint, and access configurations, then coordinate interfaces, ports, service accounts, certificates, and deployment dependencies as applicable. Vendors configure their applications; we work with your IT team to prepare and secure the supporting environment and coordinate the technical dependencies. Readiness checks, integration testing, cutover planning, and handover reduce uncertainty when several systems and vendors must move together.

Workstation Deployment

We standardize, configure, and deploy Windows workstations and laptops using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Group Policy, or another agreed management approach. We configure device enrollment, application packages, identity integration, endpoint protection, disk encryption, update policies, and local administrator access where supported. User data, printers, and peripherals are included in the deployment plan. Pilot builds and acceptance testing help identify application issues before rollout, while asset and configuration records make the fleet easier to manage.

Casino and hotel IT services

Infrastructure that supports daily operations.

Based in Las Vegas, Netsmart USA works with casino and hotel leadership, internal IT staff and application vendors to support the systems each property depends on.

Hotel IT support

Front-desk, reservations, accounting and guest-facing services depend on reliable devices, accounts and connections. We review those IT dependencies with your team and application providers, including how staff systems connect to shared property infrastructure.

A practical infrastructure review

Connect symptoms to the systems behind them.

Intermittent Wi-Fi, slow applications or an unsuccessful restore can involve several suppliers and systems. An agreed review identifies dependencies and gives your team a clear starting point for troubleshooting or a project.

01

Guest, staff and vendor connections

Map network segments, wireless coverage, internet services and approved vendor access. Test representative connections and document the boundaries between guest access and operational systems.

Firewalls and network segmentation
02

Recovery dependencies

Review important systems, application data, backup coverage and restoration order. Agree testing with the relevant vendors and record what was checked, what worked and what still needs attention.

Planning your property’s IT

Casino and hotel IT questions.

01

Do you provide IT services for hotels as well as casinos?

Yes. Netsmart USA supports casino and hotel IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, Wi-Fi, firewalls, workstations and backups. We coordinate the IT requirements behind property applications with your staff and the relevant software and equipment vendors.

02

How should a property approach guest Wi-Fi problems?

Start by identifying the affected area, time, devices and type of problem. Review wireless coverage, network capacity, internet connectivity and the path to the guest service. Staff applications and connected property equipment may need different access rules. We agree on the assessment, changes and representative connection tests with your team.

03

What should a casino or hotel recovery plan include?

Identify the systems needed to resume operations, the data they depend on, their vendor contacts and the order of restoration. Include servers, application databases, network access and identity services where relevant. Backups should be checked through agreed restoration scenarios, with findings and remaining actions documented.

04

Can you help us upgrade infrastructure without replacing our IT team?

Yes. We can deliver a defined infrastructure project alongside your existing IT staff. Together, we agree responsibilities, procurement, vendor dependencies, maintenance windows, acceptance checks and handover. Your leadership approves scope, spending and scheduling.

Certified expertise

Certified expertise.
Practical IT delivery.

Our team’s delivery experience spans more than 20 years and more than 50 casinos in the United States and Canada, across gaming systems, hospitality, corporate networks, and business-critical infrastructure. Incident response is backed by GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) expertise, and our staff hold Microsoft certifications in security, compliance, identity, Azure, and Microsoft 365.

Every engagement has an agreed scope and named responsibilities. We coordinate vendors and changes, review configurations, validate test results, and document operating procedures, while your IT leadership keeps direction, approvals, and visibility.
